{"id":127,"date":"2013-09-08T22:13:36","date_gmt":"2013-09-08T22:13:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/burnhamup.com\/blog\/?p=127"},"modified":"2013-09-08T22:13:36","modified_gmt":"2013-09-08T22:13:36","slug":"with-humble-heart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/burnhamup.com\/blog\/2013\/09\/with-humble-heart\/","title":{"rendered":"With Humble Heart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We sang \u201cWith Humble Heart\u201d (<a title=\"With Humble Heart\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lds.org\/music\/library\/hymns\/with-humble-heart?lang=eng\">LDS Hymn #171<\/a>) at church today and the lyrics really stood out to me today.\u00a0The second verse goes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Help me remember, I implore,<br \/>\nThou gav&#8217;st thy life on Calvary,<br \/>\nThat I might live forevermore<br \/>\nAnd grow, dear Lord, to be like thee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I like how the third verse carries on with this idea. I usually feel like the verses of songs are somewhat independent of each other, but not this time. While I sang, I felt like I was pausing to marvel at being able to become more like Christ<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To be like thee!
