Found an article with the solution<\/a> which is to navigate to “C:\\ProgramData\\Electronic Arts\\EA Services\\License” and delete the contents of the folder. Afterwards relaunching games will build back licenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My guess as to what happened – I originally installed the game from Origin some number of years ago and their DRM scheme didn’t survive the change to the EA app. Why they didn’t just code that solution into the app, I don’t know. Maybe their app doesn’t know the DRM check failed.
